Is it June yet… good luck Mike!

Good Luck Mike, I have been dry on big game for the last 2 years. I put in for Deer and Oryx this year.

Thanks guys…….this seems like “groundhog days” but I honestly feel that my time is coming.  I have been lucky enough to have been on a couple nice moose hunts with buddies who have been chosen.  I guess there is nothing like pulling the trigger on Bullwinkle……but having moose meat in the freezer is very nice.  I will let you all know if it happens.

Until then… is a picture of my neighbor, good friend, fellow USW member, with his biggest Maine moose.

I’ll bet pack’n them moose decoys around is a real pain…

Best of luck to you Mike. It is crazy how much the rules vary from state to state, especially for residents. Personally think if you are a resident you should be allowed to hunt anything native to your state. But I do get great satisfaction from providing quality habitat for “my” wildlife year round. It is wonderful to see the deer, turkey, and quail prosper and multiply form year to year. Just this morning we got to watch 6 deer enjoying peas and turnips as my wife and I had our morning coffee on the back porch. Anyway GOOD LUCK and I hope to one day make it up your way.
