Who is conducting this raffle?
The Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (USA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is conducting this raffle under authorization from the Tennessee General Assembly and the Tennessee Secretary of State.
How do I purchase tickets?
To purchase tickets, go to unionsportsmen.org/product/big-ten-raffle You can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
How much does a raffle ticket cost?
Raffle tickets are $20 each, 3 for $50, or 10 for $100.
How many tickets can I buy?
You may purchase as many tickets as you wish.
When will I get my ticket(s)?
As soon as your ticket(s) are purchased, you will receive an email confirming your purchase. You will receive your ticket(s) number on the confirmation page and email receipt. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please be sure to check your SPAM/JUNK Folders
How many raffle tickets will be sold?
There is no limit on the number of tickets for sale.
What are my odds of winning?
The odds of winning a raffle prize depend on the number of tickets you purchase, and the total number of tickets sold.
Is my raffle ticket tax-deductible?
No. The IRS’s position is that amounts paid for chances to win in raffles, lotteries, or similar drawings for valuable prizes are wagers, and consequently do not qualify as deductible charitable contributions.
When are the ticket purchase deadlines and drawings?
Ticket Purchase Deadline: Tuesday, November 30, at 6:00 PM (CST).
Drawing: Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

What are the hunt dates?
Washington Sea Duck Hunt – To be coordinated directly with outfitter.
African Safari Hunt for Four | April-October, 2022
Osceola Turkey Hunt | March 7 – April 12, 2022
Texas Whitetail Hunt | Fall 2022 | October-January
Trout Fishing Trip | Available Anytime | Need to Coordinate Dates with USA
Vegas Trip | Available Anytime | Need to Coordinate Dates with USA
Hunts with Outfitters must be scheduled by the winner and is subject to outfitter availability.
When is the drawing held?
The live drawing will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. The top ten winners will be announced at the USA Headquarters in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
How will winners be notified?
The top ten winners will be notified by phone and/or email using the contact info provided when purchasing the tickets in order to make their prize package selection.
Can I be entered into just one prize drawing?
No. There is only one drawing. Every ticket sold will be eligible for all the prizes.
Can I win more than one prize?
Yes. If you purchase more than one ticket, you are eligible to win more than one prize. Each ticket is assigned a unique identification number and every remaining ticket number is eligible to be drawn after the previous winning number is drawn.
Do I have to be present at the drawing to win?
No. You do not need to be present to win.
Are previous year’s winners still eligible?
Yes.
What if I don’t like, or I am unable to accept the prize I win? Is there a cash alternative?
No. There are no cash alternatives to the prizes won. If a winner does not accept the prize, another winner will be drawn from the remaining tickets.
How do I claim my prize(s)?
Once the top ten winners have been drawn, USA staff will contact each winner beginning with the first name drawn in order to make the prize package selection. Please be sure to call us back ASAP if we reach your voicemail. If your prize package contains a firearm, you must submit a completed FFL form and successfully pass a firearms background check.
What are the taxable values of each of the prize package?
The following are the values of each of the prize packages:
- Grand Prize Package – The Outdoor Adventure Vehicles Package: $22,500.00
- African Safari Hunt for Four: $14,400.00
- Sea Duck Hunting in Washington: $5,000.00
- Texas Whitetail Package: $6,000.00
- Osceola Turkey Hunt Experience: $6,000.00
- Trophy Brown Trout Experience: $3,000.00
- The Rain Man Vegas Experience: $7,000.00
- Long Range Rifle PRO Package: $2,587.00
- The USA Partner Package: $2,310.00
- Sig Sauer Ultimate Handgun Package: $1,600.00
Can the winner sell any of the hunts?
No.
Are any of the tags transferable?
If the winner is unable, or chooses not to participate in the hunts, he or she can choose to transfer the tag to an eligible hunter, one time. No monetary gain can be made in the transaction. Once a tag has been transferred, it cannot be transferred again.
How are the proceeds generated by the raffle used?
Proceeds from the 2021 Big Ten Raffle benefit the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (USA) and its mission to unite the union community through conservation by restoring our outdoor heritage. This includes but is not limited to: Infrastructure Projects, Outreach Events, Conservation Dinners, Sporting Clays Shoots, and Supporting Local Unions.
What about licenses/regulations for the hunting packages?
All prize winners must abide by the rules and regulations established by the Hunting and Trapping Guide related to the hunt. The winner must possess all applicable licenses and/or permits to legally participate in the hunts.
