Congratulations to Richard Christie on winning USA’s Photo of the Month Contest sponsored by Carhartt. Rich has been hunting waterfowl for 15 years and, at age 64, he carries all of his gear in and out of ponds by foot (no motorized vehicles whatsoever).
This photo was taken on his way to a hunting blind at the San Luis and Merced National Wildlife Refuge in California.
