FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Nashville, TN—In honor of Father’s Day, the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance is offering members the opportunity to share their favorite memories in the USA Father’s Day Story Contest now through Thursday, June 30.
Fathers are powerful influences in our lives, and often times the ones who taught us to hunt, fish, shoot and love the great outdoors.
Celebrate your father’s outdoor legacy by sharing a story that’s funny, endearing, about a lesson learned or a loving memory for the chance to win a Fishin’ Edge 6.6 ft. bait casting rod with a trigger grip handle and an Ardent XS1000 casting reel ($336 value).
The winning story will be chosen by a committee on or around July 5, 2011. Winning selection will be based on content, and featured on the USA Web site, in the July issue of the USA e-newsletter and possibly in the next USA magazine.
You must be an active USA member to qualify. All submissions must be received by Thursday, June 30, 2011
To enter, e-mail your story to Kate Cywinski at [email protected] or mail it to Union Sportsmen’s Alliance, Attn: Father’s Day Story Contest, 3340 Perimeter Hill Dr., Nashville, TN 37211.
Fishin’ Edge rods are 100% graphite and hand wrapped, hand tied and hand crafted to the highest standards by experienced and successful fishermen in the Arkansas Ozarks. Every rod has the blank extending all the way through the handle to improve its sensitivity and feel, and the handles are made from the finest cork in the world.
Ardent is home to the most innovative casting and spinning reels and some of the biggest names on the water. It’s also the only manufacturer of U.S. made freshwater fishing reels, reel care products and accessories.
Put these high-quality, U.S. made products together, and you’ll be ready to drop a line in the water and make your dad proud. For your chance to win, submit a story about your dad in the USA Father’s Day Story Contest today.
