Nashville, TN—The Union Sportsmen’s Alliance’s (USA) popular, sporting clays and trap shooting series will kick off its 2012 season with the 2nd Annual Southern Florida Sporting Clays Shoot from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 12 at the Markham Skeet, Trap & Sporting Clays Club, located 16001 West State Rd. 84 in Sunrise.
Bringing together union members, retirees, contractors, families and outdoor enthusiasts for a fun-filled day of recreation, the shoots also help raise imperative funding to support the USA’s conservation mission and programs such as Boots on the Ground.
With 25 sporting clays and trap shoots scheduled across the country for 2012, these events allow the USA to introduce new individuals to the shooting sports and help educate future generations of sportsmen and women.
Participants will have the opportunity to win awards, door prizes and premium raffle item drawings as well as test out firearms, optics and more from some of the outdoor industries leading brands.
Individual shooter registration starts at $150 (lunch, 12 and 20 gauge shells and targets provided), and premium and classic sponsorship opportunities are available from $750 – $6,000. Shooters of all ages and skill level are welcome to attend. Deadline for shooter registration is Monday, January 9.
