Hosted by noted outdoorsman Tom Ackerman, Brotherhood Outdoors puts American workers in the spotlight, giving them the opportunity to join Tom for a quality outfitted North American trip of their choosing or to act as Tom’s guide, taking him to their favorite hunting or fishing location.
“With millions of Union members participating in hunting, shooting and fishing activities, Brotherhood Outdoors is a strong addition to our third quarter lineup,” said Sportsman Channel CEO Gavin Harvey. “It perfectly demonstrates our shared commitment to conservation and outdoor heritage.”
The first season includes a mix of electrical workers, pipefitters, sheet metal workers, fire fighters, painters and more, who pursue elk, waterfowl, deer, antelope and various fresh and saltwater fishing species. Viewers will get an intimate glimpse into the lives of these unique, blue-collar characters, their passion for the outdoors and their desire to make a difference.
“We are extremely proud of our members and their involvement in conservation efforts in their communities,” said USA Executive Director Fred Myers. “Partnering with the Sportsman Channel allows us to honor some of the hardest working men and women in the country by showcasing their enthusiasm for the great outdoors on national TV.”
