WILDLIFE RESEARCH CENTER HOT SCRAPE KIT
Wildlife Research has a new Hot Scrape Kit that is a two-part system. The kit contains one bottle of scrape conditioner that eliminates foreign odors from the mock scrape and leaves behind a fresh earth smell. The second bottle is a mock scrape activator that adds a complex combination of odors found in a real scrape including deer smells and other key elements that will attract and hold bucks near the scrape.
Often it is human odor left behind in a scrape that spooks deer when they approach the mock scrape. With this system, you destroy the foreign odors and have an attractant to put in the scrape into one kit.
BUSHNELL BACKTRACK GPS
The original Backtrack GPS by Bushnell was a huge hit because of its ease of use. Bushnell has expanded the line to include the Backtrack Point 5.
This GPS allows hunters to store up to five way points so it is easy to use and easy to find the stored waypoints including the truck, camp or the trail head. It shows details like latitude/longitude coordinates, includes time/temperature/altitude and utilizes the latest digital technology.
