Nashville, TN—More than 150 shooters are registered to attend the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance’s (USA) 3rd annual Kansas City Clay Shooting Triathlon, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 8 at Saddle and Sirloin, located at 14401 Holmes Road in Kansas City.
The Triathlon brings together union members, contractors, family members and outdoor enthusiasts offering them the opportunity to shoot 50 rounds of sporting clays, 25 rounds of five-stands and 25 rounds of trap for a total of 100 clays per shooter.
Shooters of all ages and skill level are welcome to attend. Individual shooter registration starts at $125 (lunch, shells and targets provided), and premium and classic sponsorship opportunities are available from $500 – $6,000. Deadline for shooter registration is Monday, October 3.
The Kansas City Shoot not only offers participants a fun-filled day of outdoor recreation, but also raises imperative funding to support the USA’s nationwide conservation program, Boots on the Ground, which pairs skilled labor with local, state and federal wildlife and fish agencies in need of assistance.
In 2011, the USA will host 25 sporting clays and trap shoots in 17 states across the country—including Alaska, California, Nevada, Kansas, Missouri, Washington D.C. and more. For more information or to register, visithttp://www.unionsportsmen.org/events.
