Nashville, TN—The Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (USA) unveiled its new shooting events truck and trailer to nearly 200 Union members, leaders, contractors and family members at its 3rd Annual Capital Area Sporting Clays Shoot outside Washington, D.C. earlier this month.
Equipped with a 50’’ flat screen TV and full PA system, the truck and trailer will serve as the primary staging area for the USA’s events—doubling as a mobile office, retail location and storehouse.
“The USA is always looking for unique ways to bring added benefits to our members,” said USA Director of Recruitment and National Events, Nate Whiteman. “With the mobility of the new shooting events truck and trailer, we can literally bring the action right to their doorstep.”
Traveling to 16 markets in 12 states, the truck and trailer will cover nearly 10,000 miles during the summer and fall of 2011. When not employed at various sporting clays and trap shoots, Union conventions, and industry conferences, it will be showcased outside Union locals throughout the country.
Serving as a rolling billboard for the USA, the Chevy 3500 HD and 32 foot trailer feature graphics designed by Mark Richmond Graphic Design and wrapped by The Kelly Companies using state-of-the-art, long-term adhesive vinyl and glossy laminate.
The shooting events truck and trailer was made possible through the generous support of the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust, Buck Knives, Lincoln Electric, Mechanical Allied Crafts, Pat O’Brien Chevrolet, Sportsman Channel, The Kelly Companies, Union Insurance Group and ULLICO.
“The USA’s new truck and trailer is another great example of how our corporate partners are joining together to help us offer unparalleled interactions with members,” said USA Deputy Director Mike D’Oliveira. “Their invaluable assistance paired with the support of 11 International Unions allows us to continue to grow and expand our organization and conservation efforts throughout North America.”
