Trophy Texas Elk with Mike

This week, Daniel Lee and Julie head to Texas to meet Wisconsin sheet metal worker Mike Kraning and take him on his very first elk hunt. Before this once-in-a-lifetime trip, Mike had only one trophy hanging on his wall ̶ a road-kill buck that he got approval from the authorities to collect. Not only does Mike get to see bull elk in the wild for the first time on this adventure, he gets to sprint through the woods in hopes of catching up to the herd, spot them through thick brush and take a shot at what he hopes will be his own trophy for the wall.

Michael McShane, an IAFF fire fighter, travels from the Maine woods to the Arizona desert to meet co-hosts Daniel Lee Martin and Julie McQueen and put his bow to the test on mule deer and javelina. For more than 10 years, Michael saved his change and then dollars in a six gallon water jug toward a hunting trip of a lifetime until, like is bad dream, it was stolen. Catch the action as Brotherhood Outdoors steps in to thank this hardworking fireman and dedicated volunteer for his tireless service by “refilling his water jug” with a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
